Disclaimer
Information pursuant to § 6 German Teleservices Act (TDG)
1. Online Contents
The Author does not accept any liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness, completeness or quality of the information made available. Any claims for liability against the Author relating to any damage of tangible or intangible nature as a result of use or disuse of the information provided or the use of incorrect or incomplete information are generally excluded unless proven intent or gross negligence should be attributable to the Author. All products and services offered are subject to confirmation and without commitment. The Author expressly reserves the right to modify, amend or delete parts of the pages or the complete Website without prior notice and suspend temporarily or discontinue its publication.
2. References and links
With regard to direct or indirect references to third-party Internet pages ("links") that are beyond the sphere of responsibility of the Author, a liability is only effective if the Author knows about their contents and is technically able to take reasonable steps to prevent their use if they contain illegal content. The Author hereby expressly declares that no illegal content was perceivable on the pages linked at the time of setting the link. The Author does not have any influence whatsoever on the current and future design, content or authorship of the pages linked. The Author therefore does not accept any responsibility for the content of all pages linked that have been modified since the time of setting the link. This statement applies to all links and references set within the Author's own Website as well as for entries made by third parties in guestbooks, discussion forums and mailing lists. The provider of the page referenced has sole liability for any illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and, in particular, any damage resulting from the use or disuse of such information rather than the owner of the page merely referencing such publication by means of a link.
3. Copyright and Trade Marks
The Author is committed to respecting the copyrights relating to graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts used in all publications or use its own graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts or resort to using license-free graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts. All brand and trade marks mentioned within the Website that may be under protection by third parties are entirely subject to the provisions of the applicable trade mark legislation and the rights of ownership of their respective registered owners. Mention of a trade mark alone does not imply that it is not protected by any third-party rights! The copyright of objects published that were created by the Author shall remain exclusively with the Author of the pages. Any reproduction or use of such graphics, audio files, video sequences and texts in other electronic or hardcopy publications is not permitted without the Author's explicit consent.
4. Data Privacy
If the Website involves the possibility of entering personal or business-related data (email addresses, names, mail addresses), the user discloses such data voluntarily. Utilization and payment of all services offered is permitted – to the technically feasible and reasonable extent – also without entering such data or entering anonymized data or an alias.
5. Legal Validity of this Disclaimer
This disclaimer shall be deemed as a part of the Internet site from which a link refers to this page. If individual parts or phrases of this text should not be partially or fully compliant with the current legislation any more, the content and validity of all other parts of the document shall remain unaffected.
Data Privacy Policy
ScopeThis Data Privacy Policy informs users about the nature, extent and purposes of the collection and use of personal data on this Internet site (referred to as “Website” below) by the responsible Website Owner – LANconcept Moll GmbH, Benzstrasse 1, 88074 Meckenbeuren, Germany, Phone +49-(0)7542/9403-15, Fax +49-(0)7542/9403-60.
The legal foundations of data privacy are set out in the German Federal Data Privacy Act (BDSG) and Telemedia Act (TMG).
Access Data / Server Log Files
The Website Owner (and/or its web space provider) collects data about every access to the Website (referred to as server log files). These access data include:
Name of the web page visited, file, date and time of visit, data volume transmitted, successful access message, browser type and version, user's operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and requesting provider.
The Website Owner uses the log data only for statistical analyses for the purposes of operation, security and optimization of the Website. However, the Website Owner reserves the right to review log data if there is concrete evidence to suspect unlawful use.
Handling of Personal Data
Personal data are information elements that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes particularly the name, email address and telephone number. However, personal data may also include information about preferences, hobbies, memberships or web pages visited by a person.
The Website Owner will only collect, use and pass on personal data to the extent permitted by law or if the users consent to such data collection.
Contact
When contacting the Website Owner (for example, by contact form or email), the user's entries are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and to be able to respond to follow-up questions.
Comments and posts
Whenever users write comments in a blog or leave other posts, their IP addresses are stored. This is intended to protect the Website Owner if somebody should write unlawful statements in a comment or post (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In such cases, the Website Owner itself might be subject to legal proceedings because of the comment or post and has therefore an interest in knowing the writer's identity.
Comment Subscriptions
Users can subscribe to follow-up comments. A user subscribing will receive a confirmation email in order to verify that he/she is the owner of the respective email address. Users can unsubscribe from comment subscriptions at any time. Information about the procedure is contained in the confirmation email.
Newsletter
Our Newsletter informs you about us and our products and services.
If you want to receive the Newsletter, we need a valid email address from you as well as information that enables us to verify that you are the owner of the email address specified or that its owner agrees to receive the Newsletter. We do not collect any other data. These data will only be used for mailing the Newsletter and never disclosed to any third party.
When you subscribe to the Newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of subscription. This is only intended as evidence in case a third party should misuse an email address and subscribe to the Newsletter without knowledge of the owner of the address.
You can withdraw your consent to our storing the data and the email address and using these for mailing the Newsletter at any time. Withdrawal is possible via a link in each Newsletter, in your profile area or by sending a notice to the contact addresses above.
Embedded Third-Party Services and Contents
Third-party content may be embedded on this Website, e.g. videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other web pages. This requires always that the providers of such content (referred to as "third-party providers" below) can detect the user's IP address, since without the IP address they cannot send the content to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to view such content. We endeavor to only use the content of providers who use the IP address only for sending content. However, it is beyond our control that third-party providers may store the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. We will inform our users about such a situation as far as we know about it.
Fotolia
Our Website may include images from the Fotolia image service provider (www.fotolia.com). You can recognize these images by their frame with "Fotolia" logo. Displaying these images requires that Fotolia can detect the IP address of the user so that the images can be sent to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required to view such content. As far as we know, the IP address is only used for this purpose to date. However, it is beyond the Website Owner's control that Fotolia may store the IP address, for example, for statistical purposes. Users are informed or images removed if this becomes known to the Website Owner. For more information, refer to the data privacy statement of Fotolia: https://de.fotolia.com/Info/Agreements/PrivacyPolicy
Cookies
Cookies are small files which store specific data relating to the device on the user's terminal device (PC, smartphone or similar). They are used to increase the user-friendliness of web pages and convenience for the user (e.g. storing log-in details). On the other hand, they are used for acquiring statistical information about web page usage in order to be able to analyze it with a view to improving the Website. Users can control how cookies are used. Most browsers include an option to restrict or prevent cookies from being stored. However, users should be aware that the use and particularly the convenience of use are restricted without the use of cookies.
You can administrate many on-line advertising cookies of companies on the US page http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/
Registration
The data submitted at registration are used for the purposes of using the Website. Users may be sent information related to the Website or registration by email, such as changes in scope or technical issues of the Website. The data collected are evident in the input screen when registering. They include, without limitation, company, title, first name, last name, email address, mail address, telephone, etc. These data are used for servicing documents by mail or electronic means and for statistical purposes.
Google Analytics
This Website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", i.e. text files placed on the users' computers that facilitate analyzing how users use the Website. The information generated by a cookie on the use of this Website by users is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server located in the USA.
However, if IP anonymization is activated on this Website, the IP addresses of Google users within the European Union member states or other signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area will first be truncated. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA before being truncated there. IP anonymization is active on this Website. Google will use this information on behalf of the Website operator for analyzing usage of the Website by users, compiling reports on the activities on the Website and provide other services related to Website use and Internet use for the Website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of the Google Analytics process will not be associated with any other data held by Google. Users may prevent storing of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in the browser software, however, users should know that if they do this they may not be able to use the full functionality of this Website. Furthermore, users can prevent collection and transmission of the data generated by cookies and related to their use of the Website (including the IP address) to Google as well as processing of these data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Use of Facebook Social Plugins
This Website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). These plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, the text elements "Like" or "Gefällt mir" or a "thumbs up" symbol) or they may appear with the "Facebook Social Plugin" label. For a list and the appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins, refer to this link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
Whenever a user opens a web page of this Website containing one of these plugins, his/her browser will connect directly to the Facebook servers. Facebook will directly transmit plugin content to the user’s browser, where it is then embedded into the web page. The Website Owner therefore has no influence on the extent of the data collected by Facebook via this plugin, and will inform users according to its current state of knowledge.
Embedding the plugin allows Facebook to receive information that a user has visited the specific Website page. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with his/her Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins, e.g. by clicking on the Like button or posting a comment, their browser directly transmits this information to Facebook, where it is stored. Facebook may also recognize and store the IP address of users who are not members of Facebook. According to Facebook, only anonymized IP addresses are stored in Germany.
The purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook as well as the related rights and settings for protecting user privacy are set out in Facebook’s Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
Users who are Facebook members and do not want Facebook to collect data about them via this Website or associate these data with their Facebook membership data must log out of their Facebook accounts before visiting the Website. Additional settings and objections to the use of data for advertising purposes can be made within the user's Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
+1 Buttons of Google+
This Website uses the "+1" button of the Google Plus social network operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The button can be recognized by the "+1" characters on a white or colored background.
Whenever a user opens a web page of this Website containing such a button, his/her browser will connect directly to the Google servers. Google will directly transmit +1 button content to the user’s browser, where it is embedded into the web page. The Website Owner therefore has no influence on the extent of data collected by Google via this button. According to Google, no personal data are collected by Google without clicking the button. It only collects and processes such data, including but not limited to the IP address, from members who are logged in.
The purpose and scope of data collection and further processing and use of data by Google as well as the related rights and settings for protecting user privacy are set out in Google’s +1 Button Policy: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.html und der FAQ: http://www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.
Google AdSense
This Website uses Google AdSense, a service for displaying Google Inc. (“Google”) advertisements. Google AdSense uses "cookies", i.e. text files stored on the users' computers that facilitate analyzing how users use the Website. Google AdSense also uses web beacons (invisible graphics), which facilitate analyzing information such as web traffic to the pages of this Website.
The information generated by cookies and web beacons about Website use (including the user’s IP address) and the delivery of advertising formats is transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. This information may be passed on by Google to its contractual partners. However, Google will not associate your IP address with other data stored about you.
Users may prevent installation of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in the browser software, however, users should know that if they do this they may not be able to use the full functionality of this Website. By using this Website, users consent to Google processing the data collected about them in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Revocation, Changes, Corrections and Updates
Users are entitled to request information about any personal data collected about them free of charge. Users may also request correction of incorrect data, blocking or deletion of their personal data unless a statutory retention period should apply.
